Technology
The integration of technology in classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces has become commonplace in educational institutions, and Germantown Academy is no different. Students, teachers, and staff all have access to PCs and Macs, 2D and 3D printers, iPads and SMART Boards. But what good is all that hardware if it doesn't serve the curriculum?
GA's Technology Office not only provides training on how to use the latest app or software program, they also strive to answer why a certain piece of technology might be useful in a given course. Whether it's introducing coding into a Lower School Math class or laser-cutting a wood engraving in Art, technology is incorporated into the curriculum in thoughtful and purposeful ways.
